Description of Service

Hypershift is a productivity application that provides task management, calendar integration, note-taking, and related features through a single-input interface. The service is provided "as is" and "as available."

User Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its related systems.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers connected to it.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service.

Your Data

Your todos, notes, tags, and other content are stored in the cloud to enable multi-device sync. You retain full ownership of your data. We do not claim any rights to the content you create within the application. We use your data solely to provide and improve the Hypershift service.

Cloud Storage and Sync

Hypershift uses Convex, a third-party cloud infrastructure provider, to store and sync your data across devices in real time. Data availability depends on the uptime and reliability of this third-party service. While we strive to ensure continuous access, we are not liable for data loss or service interruptions caused by third-party infrastructure outages. We recommend keeping your browser's local cache intact as an additional safeguard.

Third-Party Integrations

When you connect third-party services (such as Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook), you grant Hypershift permission to read and write calendar events on your behalf. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. You can revoke access at any time from the Settings page. Hypershift is not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hypershift and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the service. The service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
